Beg Fayaz & Peer Imtiyaz:
Wadwan ( Kishtwar ) November 13 :
Schools are the fundamental learning institutes which civilize a man to live
with honor & dignity in the society. It is the constitutional duty of the govt. to establish & manage schools in the society without any discrimination.
Our state has low literacy rate as compared to other states of India. Wadwan Tehsil of district Kishtwar has poor system of education where ten classes have only four rooms & teachers cannot teach the students properly.
Only four teachers have been deputed at High School Busman for 300 students,
Braniyan GMS has 200 students having four teachers without any facility.
The school is situated on the bank of River Chenab, having great threat in floods,
require protection wall round the school. Chhoidraman GMS is also suffering
from the same situation. After investigation it has been observed that
negligence of education dept. has deteriorated the educational status of this
remote area where they have failed to provide all required facilities to the
students. The locals told to the Sachnews that Education Minister of state never visited these schools nor tried to improve the poor condition of education in this remote area. They also told that there is no access to private institutes & people depend upon govt. schools only. So, it is the sole responsibility of administration to take extraordinary care of govt. schools.
