Anantnag, March 3: A tragic road accident in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Monday evening resulted in the death of a young man, while his brother sustained critical injuries.
According to reports, the accident occurred in the Anzwalla area of Anantnag when a scooty and an auto collided. The scooty rider, identified as Owais Reyaz Khan, son of Reyaz Ahmad, a resident of Shirpora, Anantnag, died on the spot.
His brother, identified as Usman Reyaz Khan, who was riding as a pillion passenger, sustained injuries and was immediately shifted to GMC Anantnag for advanced medical treatment.
Meanwhile, the police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated an investigation into the matter.
