Kulgam, April 11:
A leopard was captured alive on Friday morning in Vednag Oriel Kund village of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
Reports reaching Sachnews Jammu Kashmir said the wild animal was first spotted by villagers early in the morning, prompting them to alert the Wildlife Department. Following the alert, a team from the department reached the spot and laid a trap to ensure the safe capture of the animal.
The presence of the leopard had sparked panic in the area, with many residents gathering to witness the rescue operation. After hours of efforts, the leopard was safely tranquilized and captured without causing any harm.
