Srinagar, April 8:

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday chaired a high-level security review meeting in Srinagar, accompanied by Jammu & Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and top officials from security and intelligence agencies.

According to Sachnews Jammu Kashmir, Shah acknowledged the significant progress made in weakening the terror infrastructure in Jammu & Kashmir through the Modi Government’s multi-pronged and decisive security approach. However, he emphasized that the job is not yet complete and directed the security forces to further intensify their operations to eliminate terrorism from the region entirely.

“Agencies have crippled terror in J&K, but now is the time to finish it once and for all,” Shah said as per Sachnews, underlining the need for advanced vigilance, seamless inter-agency coordination, and proactive offensives to dismantle any remaining networks of terror.

The Home Minister reiterated the Modi government’s unwavering commitment to transforming J&K into a secure, peaceful, and prosperous region. He called upon all stakeholders to maintain high alertness, ensuring public safety while preserving peace and development momentum across the Union Territory.
